Oberman Tutoring is thrilled to offer you an amazing array of summer learning opportunities, including classes to hep you prepare for the SAT/ACT, develop your executive functioning, and allow you to start the year strong in your new math class.

ACT/SAT Test Prep

Focused on those taking the ACT/SAT for the first time, our Standardized Test Prep classes will help students prepare in detail for the test. There will be substantial amounts of homework for each evening, and the class will move at a brisk pace. Half of the 15 hours will be devoted to the math section, and half will be devoted to the English portion of the exam. Learn the types of problems you can expect on the test, and be ready to take copious notes on the best methods to solve these problems.

Executive Function for Middle School / High School Students

Prepare your child for academic success with our Summer Executive Functioning Classes! Designed for rising 5th to 10th graders, and divided into middle (rising 5th– 7th grades) and high-school (rising 8th–10th grades) cohorts, our intentionally small group sessions offer tailored support in essential skills including time management, goal-setting, and organization. Led by experienced educators, our interactive classes foster confidence and equip students with strategies for long-term achievement. Enroll now for a transformative summer experience!

Students will work with an experienced coach with a Master’s degree in Education who works at an independent school as a full-time executive functioning coach and has classroom experience in prestigious independent middle and high schools. During the executive functioning class, students will engage in activities and games designed to strengthen their student skills.

Math Bootcamps to jump start the 2024–2025 School Year

This Summer Oberman Tutoring is offering intensive one-week courses for students to 

• Brush up and reinforce your skills from your previous math class

• Get a jump start on your math class for the 2024–2025 school year

• All of our Bootcamps will be taught by highly experienced teachers who have taught the course that students have completed last year as well as the course that students will take in the upcoming year.

• Our Advanced Placement Bootcamps, in Calculus and Statistics, will be taught by experienced former AP teachers who were also AP Readers for the College Board, so your child will receive focused preparation not only for the subject matter but also for specific requirements for the AP exam.
