He spent 12 years as an AP Calculus Reader for the College Board, scoring the free response portions of the AP Calculus exam. In addition, he spent 5 years as an AP Calculus Consultant with NMSI (the National Math and Science Initiative nms.org), helping AP Calculus teachers become more effective in their classrooms. Since leaving the classroom, Al has worked as an editor and content author for various math textbook publishing houses. Marti Wayland is both a Statistics and Calculus tutor for Oberman Tutoring. In her 40 year career in education, she has taught all levels of high school math and has been an instructor of calculus and statistics at the college level. She has served as a math department chair and academic coach for the past 15 years. Marti was an AP Calculus Reader for several years, and she completed her thirteenth year as an AP Statistics Reader in June. She also scores projects for the American Statistical Association's annual AP Stats research competition. Marti is a consultant with the National Math and Science Initiative as well as independent school districts, focusing on helping teachers use best practices for learning in a math classroom. She is passionate about good teaching and enabling students to succeed in rigorous mathematics courses.

Laura Jaques (pronounced Jakes), MaED, MFA, is an educator and professional writer with over twenty-five years of experience teaching language to students from grades eight through college. Deeply committed to helping students gain both proficiency and an appreciation—dare we say love?—for language, Laura teaches the mechanics necessary to construct grammatically correct, skillfully executed sentences as well as the critical thinking and analysis required for both text interpretation and good writing.
Laura adheres to the philosophy that language is a tool of power, and the better able we are to communicate clearly and share our visions with the world, the stronger our impact will be. Geoffrey graduated from Tufts University in 2021, where he studied economics and entrepreneurship. He currently lives in Boston and works on NeverClog, his startup that provides a revolutionary mess-and-stress-free solution to clogged shower drains. Geoffrey has provided tutoring for middle school and high school level subjects and standardized testing for years, currently working with the Petey Greene Program tutoring incarcerated students throughout Massachusetts. He specializes in the ACT—specifically the English and Science sections—as well as writing, including college application essays.

Sarah Null, M.Ed., is a tutor who specializes in supporting neurodiverse learners. Sarah is a Fellow-in-Training with the Orton-Gillingham Academy; she has spent the past 17 years supporting and remediating dyslexic and dysgraphic learners and is now also able to provide training for teachers and tutors who want to learn and master a structured literacy approach. Sarah enjoys working with students of all ages and abilities and helps with everything from learning to read to synthesizing information into research papers. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with two very active teenagers, one very lazy dog, and her husband, as well as reading and playing tennis.

Sally Stanhope excels at guiding students to develop their confidence as learners, writers, and readers. With a wide range of experience teaching and tutoring from elementary students to undergraduates, she enjoys working with students of all ages individually and discovering their preferences, interests, and personalities! Sally is ready to help students master the skills needed to pass Advanced Placement history [United States, World, and European] exams, as well as the Psychology, Human Geography, and government [U.S. and Comparative] exams. She can also advise students as they develop their projects for IB Programs, AP Capstone, or AP African American Studies. Additionally, Sally can support students as they complete applications and interviews to secure spots in competitive programs whether it be college or a summer experience.
